Winning the palm!

   March 2006    India

bakebrain and oolong met many interesting backgammon opponents during their journey through India. A special one for sure the one and only backgammon playing palm in India. You can find this special tree when trying to reach Halfmoon bay down south of Gokarna.

“Come closer and see, see into the trees” – what a nice day that was in Gokarna. Two individuals and a backgammon board – that's all you need to enjoy a good game and the amazing view at the same time! Off course bakebrain doubled the palm out in a thrilling 7 point match! By the way: Do not play versus cows in Gokarna! They are much more aggressive than the holy ones in Arambol!

There was just one topic to be discussed once bakebrain and oolong reached Halfmoon bay after a serious climb. Why the hell does one have to make such tremendous efforts to find a backgammon opponent that strong?
