To be free from giddiness is definitely a must for a real extreme backgammon player! Especially if you want to enjoy a nice spot and play a serious backgammon match at the same time. This picture shows the rope bridge built to access Carrick-a-Rede island in county Antrim/Northern Ireland. Originally built to assist salmon fishery, the swinging rope bridge is now a perfect place for real extreme backgammon hardcore!

Experience is am integral part on backgammon. It is even more important on the extreme backgammon side of things. And it is ultimately important when playing on a shaky, untrustworthy rope bridge in Northern Ireland. It certainly takes some guts to swing with that deadly bridge and playing your best backgammon at the same time. Unfortunately it was a really long holding game again between these players. The advantage was bouncing back and forth during this lengthy backgammon session. Again, it was a matter of pure experience that bakebrain won 17-14 in an epic battle.
Both players were totally exhausted after this match. They had to sit down for a while - and then the rain started... The players were heading back home to Dublin soon after - soaked, tired and blessed with a new extreme backgammon confidence level.
